Once your surgical or endoscopic procedure has been scheduled at out facility, you will be contacted by one of our staff members to confirm the date and time of the procedure. If your procedure is being performed under insurance, you will be asked to complete a short form providing us with your pertinent insurance information.
You will be contacted on the day prior to your procedure by one of our staff to answer any last minute questions. If you are having any form of sedation or general anesthesia, you should refrain from eating or drinking anything 8 hours prior to your procedure. Your physician will let you know if you can take your regular medications on the morning of surgery. We ask that you arrive to the surgery center at least one hour prior to your procedure. You should not wear any jewelry of any sort including body piercing. Though we have had no issues to date with respect to valuable belongings, we recommend you leave all of your valuables including your wallet at home or with your companion on the day of surgery. Comfortable clothing with sandals or other easily wearable shoes without laces is a must. Our nursing staff and anesthesiologist will double check all of your medical information and prepare you for your procedure.
Should you have any other questions, we encourage you to contact us.
