Cheek Lift

A cheek lift tightens the cheeks. A cheek lift or mid-facelift restores fullness to the cheek, softens deep lines extending from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth and raises the outer portion of the eyebrow, creating a more rested and youthful appearance.

The mid-face is an essential component of an attractive face. With the aging process, fatty tissue that normally drapes over the cheekbones begins to sag, resulting in less prominent cheekbones and a droopy fold of skin and fat between the nose and the cheek. The sagging cheek fat also alters the appearance of the lower cheek.

Using minimally invasive cheek lift techniques with limited incisions, plastic surgeons lift up the droopy cheek tissue up over the cheekbone thereby restoring the natural placement of the features in the mid-face. This procedure creates a more prominent youthful contour, improves the tear trough and eliminates bagginess of the lower lids, while softening the undesirable cheek fold.
